4 Ways to Register

Anyone wishing to vote in the state of Wisconsin has four ways to register:

1. By Mail
Download the Voter Registration Application, complete the form and mail it to the Clerk's office. The application must be postmarked no later than the 20th day (3rd Wednesday) before the election. You must also enclose a copy of your proof of residence.  Proof of Residence Guide

2. In Person
Register in the Clerk's office up to 5:00 PM or the close of business, whichever is later, on the Friday before the election. You cannot register to vote the Monday before an election. Note: an elector registering to vote in person in the Clerk's office is required to present acceptable proof of residence.

3.  Online
Voters are able to register online.

4. At the Polling Place on Election Day
On Election Day the polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. If you wish to register at your polling place you will need to provide proof of residence.
